The network is composed of national Focal Points and technical representatives from ministries and/or public institutions responsible for market monitoring across the 13 member countries of the CIHEAM (International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies). Their role is to ensure a technical link between the MED-Amin Secretariat and their respective administrations by sharing data and contributing to the visibility of the network. They meet annually to discuss international and national developments in cereal markets and food security, work on targeted topics with the support of international experts, and share information and methodologies. These meetings also provide an opportunity to address the network’s technical matters and to take collective decisions.
